How Atlas Integration + Security collects, uses, and protects your information.

Atlas Integration + Security ("Atlas", "we", "our", "us") provides low-voltage technology services to businesses and homeowners, including access-control installation, security-camera deployment, network infrastructure, structural wiring, and building-automation systems such as Control4 or Savant. We respect your privacy and are committed to safeguarding personal information entrusted to us.
1. Scope
This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you:
- Request service or support (e.g., via phone, SMS, email, or on-site ticket form);
- Use our "Text for Service" line (949) 649-0113 or visit atlasintsec.com/support.
We do not conduct advertising outreach to non-customers, and we do not run analytics or tracking scripts on our website.
2. Information We Collect
- Contact & Account Data – name, company, service address, phone, email.
- Service Ticket Details – descriptions of issues, system configuration, photos you supply.
- SMS Content & Logs – messages exchanged on our support line (stored by Twilio for routing and retained by Atlas for up to 24 months; see §7).
- Payment References – invoice numbers, QuickBooks transaction IDs. We do not store card or bank details; all payments are processed directly by Intuit QuickBooks.
- Server Logs – basic HTTP request data (IP, user-agent) captured automatically by our web host for security and troubleshooting.
3. What We Do Not Collect or Store
- No website analytics, advertising cookies, or behavioural tracking.
- No video or access-control footage. All surveillance data remains on the client's NVR or third-party cloud service that you control.
- No marketing lists; we send transactional communications only.
4. How We Use Information
- Provide, schedule, and complete service calls.
- Generate invoices and keep financial records.
- Send transactional messages (ticket confirmation, technician ETA, completion notice).
- Comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, licensing).
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.
5. Legal Bases
Our processing rests on (i) contract performance; (ii) legitimate interests in delivering requested services; and (iii) your consent where expressly granted (e.g., by texting our support line).
6. Disclosure to Third Parties
- Intuit QuickBooks – invoicing and payment processing.
- Twilio – SMS delivery and routing.
- Licensed subcontractors or vendors when required to fulfil your work order.
- Regulators, law enforcement, or courts if legally compelled.
- We do not sell or rent personal information.
7. SMS Communications
By texting SERVICE to (949) 649-0113 you consent to receive up to five automated, ticket-related messages per service request. Msg & data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help. SMS logs are retained for up to 24 months and then securely deleted. Opt-in/opt-out records (timestamp, number, consent source, and opt-out confirmations) are retained for up to 24 months for compliance.
8. Cookies & Tracking
Our site uses only an essential session cookie set by the web server; no analytics or advertising cookies are employed.
9. Data Retention
- Customer records and invoices: 7 years (IRS compliance).
- Service tickets and attachments: up to 7 years from job completion.
- SMS logs: 24 months.
- Server logs: up to 12 months.
We may retain data longer if required for disputes or legal obligations.
10. Data Security
Atlas employs TLS encryption for all web traffic, role-based access controls for internal systems, and secure credential storage. Sub-processors (Intuit, Twilio) are SOC 2 or PCI DSS compliant.
11. Your Rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information we hold. Contact us using §13.
12. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)
Atlas does not sell personal information. California residents can request access or deletion by emailing [email protected] or calling (949) 649-3990. We will verify your identity before processing.
